Yannick Paul

Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I keep Your word. (Psalm 119:67)

Yannick Paul is a Jamaica born gospel artist using the dancehall and reggae genre to spread the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Previously known as Don Snypa or Dynasty General in the Bronx dancehall scene, Yannick Paul's musical journey took a profound turn. A pivotal 2012 visit to Kingston, JA, a powerful encounter with Clifton "Specialist" Dillon and witnessing Luciano's in-studio rehearsal ignited his belief in his own musical talent. However, upon returning to New York City, a realization of his need for God came, and a divine calling led him to dedicate his powerful delivery and unique style to gospel music, pointing listeners towards the Lord Jesus.

Now residing in Pennsylvania on a small farm, Yannick's family support and lifestyle contribute to his musical journey. He is husband of Rose, and father of Levi, Eden and Noah. On their small farm, they raise 20+ chickens, a rabbit and a golden retriever named Samson.

Yannick Paul serves in a few ministries at his local church including singing on the choir and media booth, but his main ministry is musical evangelism and street evangelism. For about 5 years now, Yannick and some friends would hit the streets of the Lehigh Valley and talk to people about Jesus. Many people would share their faith walk or lack thereof and some would even break down in tears and express their need for Jesus. Witnessing in this way is what gives Yannick Paul his purpose.

Yannick Paul’s newest musical efforts are aimed toward releasing “The Search”, his debut EP tackling issues of depression, resisting the flesh to honor Jesus, marriage, witnessing and more. His main goal is to leave a stone in the listeners shoe, to have them think about Jesus in a deeper, more intimate and genuine way.

Apart from music, Yannick Paul is a high school art teacher, freelance graphic designer and photographer.
